    Don’t know….was “shocked’ when I looked and this one had gone through!! I just keep perservering!! LOL!!! Sometimes I loose connection..sometimes it just sits there ‘loading’!!!! Sent RB a e-mail earlier…its getting past my bed time.LOL..But I’m going to try another!! Wish me luck!! LOL..*-)

    This is so very, very effective!
    Well spotted and well photographed with an astounding quality and clarity under those conditions.
    You have selected a very good scene and composed the shot very well.
    As a bit of housekeeping I suggest you clone out that small bright distraction up near our top right corner.
    I really like the wonderful subtle tones and hues and the soft partial silhouette.

    Wow, what a shot! Please explain “Burning Off”..... What are you burning off? I know sometimes here in Florida, the state does a “controled burn of very dry wooded areas. It is done for fire protection. I hate when they do that because it kills so many of our trees. Are you doing it for fire protection. Since your Spring has arrived, isn’t it your rainy season? Boy I am full of questins this morning, LOL

    Hi Sue…Yes burning-off is much the same as ‘controlled” burning!!..only most of what we were burning was what was piled into mounds first and then burnt…also some ‘blady grass” patches that are taking over!! Thankfully most of our gums love a good fire!!! Amazing how they can rejuvinate after severe heat and flames!!! Spring has arrived here …were waiting for the rain!!     Well blow me down . I have never seen anyone use smoke to get such a shallow depth of field. It is a great shot especially as you can see the front line of the fire as it were.
