I am fascinated by the things I see around me everyday.
My camera is a Ricoh 8 which I chose for price, menu, compact size, Red Bubble’s pixel requirements and in particular, the availability of TIFF files which are like old posters and woodcuts. Although it is not quite a prosumer camera I find it’s shortcomings can be used to advantage for example the narrow dynamic range can be used to filter out the background.
I try to take my camera with me almost everywhere and find the most limiting factor is time.
I have a background in art, horticulture and motherhood and I like to work in series.
Please enjoy my photos.
