Wheal Coates – the gaunt remains of the once magnificent engine houses at St Agnes Cornwall UK – taken as the sun was dropping over the horizon. These mining ruins are now all that is left of a once flourishing mining industry and stand as a reminder of the harsh lives our forefathers endured. They are now under the protection of the National Trust and are an iconic reminder of Cornish history. Featured in Devon and Cornwall.
I love the colour of the heather in the fading light….A baby soft pink hue in the sky just reflecting its colour into the sea.
Thanks a million! Some was filmed around the area – it’s where I originally came from. Husband (then boyfriend) and i used to park the car on the cliffs when we were out ‘courtin’!!!.
