One of the spectacular plants in the St. Anton Gardens in Malta – a delight to walk in with its cool greenery – would love to know its name – the centre looks ‘alien’….
Nice capture. It’s called Cycad Palm, botanical name Cycas Revoluta, of Japan and China origins. This one is kind of flat, and I don’t really know why. I have a couple of images in my archives and I will post it in the next couple of days so you can see the difference. Normally it looks like a dry cone. Just look for it and I will post it to the group ok?
Great – many thanks – it was quite dry inside – maybe getting old??? When I go back to the gardens will look and see if there is any info . Just love it!
