I met this quiet gentelman in Oman sitting contemplating. You could feel his spirit and his very soul. He spoke softly to me, and regaled me with stories of anciient Oman. Featured in Art of the Middle East
Indeed a peaceful posture and a wonderful candid capture. image is too red and a tad dark. I took the liberty to download the large thumbnail and do a quick white point balance, levels, shadows-highlights and contrast balance to yield this image. Again it is all a subjective POV but let me know what you think…
Am a total novice and am always seeking advice! The room was very dark and I was only using my small fuji digicam! Want to learn how to really understand more about phoyography – so all tips really greatefully received!
I’m glad I looked at the larger version rotfl…I thought, from the thumbnail, that you had outfoxed the world’s media and obtained an exclusive photo of Osama Bin Laden!! This shot, once I look at the larger version, is very good. Very calming and tranquil.
BTW…I started out, about 8 years ago, with a small 1.3 megapixel Fuji point and shoot!

John, – only wish – could have made a fortune – however, thanks for your encouragement. He was such a man of character – and had a wonderful smile.
