This caught my eye. I like the way you composed it, the colours in it, and the interesting subject matter. Czech Republic. Interesting. Have you heard of Tabor Radosti?

  • Hi. Thanks, the colours were mostly down to a mix of natural and artificial light and getting in a mess with the white balance. I decided I like it though. I had not heard of Tabor Radosti before, just looked it up though. Reminds me of a slovakian band I used to follow about when I was a teenager, industrial thrash techno was their bag, but I could see them chilling out to Tabor.

Wow…it’s like a ladder leading up to heaven…OR…a descent into hell…

  • Thanks, I had not thought of it like that, great interpretation.

All these bones out of context isn’t good for an archaeologist. Someone had some fun creating this symbolism for the dead, it probably speaks more for the
“mind” of the artist(s) who decided to store the bones like this. The other photo of the skulls hanging from the ceiling is unbelievable. This close-up photo above is powerful. I am almost a Jolly Roger.

  • It is a bizarre place, conjures a feeling of banality around death. In the corners of the room were massive arranged piles. Almost makes you feel sorry for the remains in the middle of the pile where they will not be seen, just keeping up the stack.

a very good piece of photography. It almost looks like a road of skulls

  • Thanks. Yes I agree. It also looks a little like a spinal column made of the skulls I think.
