Some streets just beg to be painted…The beautiful Victorian homes in San Franciso, the houses on Martha’s Vineyard where whaling captains lived a century ago, and countless others. On my first visit to Georgetown in Washington, D.C., I came armed with camera, and I think I stopped on about every letter to photograph an image. (The streets are lettered M, N, O, P, etc.)
