This picture was actually inspired when I wanted to try and paint myself in a portrait, it came out as an animal. I truly submersed myself into this picture. I can be a bit to serious at times, something I’ve been working on over the years…. I’m watchful, observant, and often quiet. I think that’s what the picture is about…

Creating art is a spiritual practice, a state of meditative awareness where body, mind, and canvas connect. It truly is a special feeling. Here I am world, here is my art, and this is the talent that God has gifted me with.     I used to draw horses when I was a young girl (I was not good at drawing but I kept on trying ;). My passion was horse riding, this brings back a lot of memories back. Wonderful work here… Well done !
