My daughter-in-law was my model for this traditional painting on canvas….
I mixed paint and sand for the canvas background, then took paints and thinned them and used a spray bottle to create the drippy lines. Then finished the painting as a mulit-cultural woman.

this is a wonderful painting… the richness in the colours are lovely and the sand mixed through the paint has really given it a nice grain… i love to add grain to paint there is something so wonderful about textures isnt there
