I wandered into Faerie.................

I wandered into Faerie
I didn’t know that I was there
Until I saw a lady
With shimmering silver hair
She said I could go with her
But I needed to be sure
For once I’d crossed the threshold
I’d be there for evermore
I wanted to go with her
But something held me back
I thought of all the earthly things
Of wonder that I’d lack
I shook my head with sadness
And bid her my farewell
I’m sure I made the right choice
But time alone will tell

chills as i read this. Simply put; its beautiful. Reminds me of my first time astral projecting while lucid dreaming. I was drawn out into a field illuminated by a full moon. where small forest spirits and faye had gathered. one had called out to me and offered me her hand, and right then as i took this entities hand, i found myself being taken swiftly across the lands to meet a friend of mine in pennsylvania, as she lay sleeping. taking final note of where i was, i began to hear a soft whisper in my mind, my soul, conveying to me, that it was time to leave. and as swiftly as i had arrived, i was back in the field of faye and forest spirits alike, dancing gracefully and in a harmonious synchronization. I was sent back to my body with the overwelming feeling of tenderness, and love, caressed back to sleep by my hightened sence of euphoria and marvel.
