I drew this specifically to enter in the 21st Centure Celts challege ‘Modern Celtic Art’

When I thought about it I wanted to portray something from the modern world which I’d rather not be without. I chose the iPod because I love to play music particularly when I draw and paint. It still amazes me that I can have all those songs in the palm of my hand.

The spiral is one of it not the oldest pattern used by the ancient Celts and portrays longevity. The third piece of symbolism is the tree which is at home in both worlds.
