She was a beautiful young woman who whilst walking home one moonlit night through the forest happened upon an Elvish Lord who had wandered through the veil into her world. He was very curious never having laid eyes on a human before. She fell instantly in love with him and followed him back to his land. Alas her love was destined to be unrequited and her heart was instantly broken. She could not bear to return to her world knowing she would never see him again and in her despair she leant against a silver birch tree sobbing uncontrollably. The tree could not bear her suffering and took her into it’s bark where she remains as one with the tree forever hoping for a glimpse of the Elven Lord.
