Well London has had its biggest snowfall since 2003 apparently and it is still snowing. This morning there were no buses, no trains and limited underground services. I walked to work but was one of only two that had managed to get there. It was very quiet with very few cars on the road and the silence was very strange. Quite a contrast to Australia, I spoke to my brother in Sydney over the weekend who said it was very hot. I hope this photo cools you all down.

I DON’T KNOW IF YOU LIKE SNOW OR NOT….BUT IT LOOKS SO COOL IN REFRESHING IN LONDON OR ANYWHERE….
Here on the southern coast of North Carolina, US we usually don’t get more than a few inches annually of snowfall and that normally in February or early March. This year however we already had 4 to 5 inches in January. Looks like a bad winter in store worldwide, at least for the northern hemisphere anyway.
you stole the title of my next photo priject i reviseted today st johns church that i loaded a couple of days ago because of the snow now i will have to think of another title it was so cool today to see in this age of computer games and teenagers wanting so much to look cool just how many of them couldnt resist being out in the snow biulding snow men and playing snowballs i was watching from my window even biulding workers guys showing the childish delight snow brings out in all of us throwing snowballs and messing round in the snow
Oh please use the title as well it will go so right with your image. You’re right the snow did seem to bring out the best in people today

Apart from a flutter of snowflakes this morning, we in Northumberland haven’t any snow yet.
Deborah that is so refreshing! After the insane heatwave here (which hindered public transport here in Adelaide due to buckling of railway tracks) it seems like welcome relief! Isn’t the weather doing strange things in recent years? Not sure whether it has anything to do with global warming, I suspect that it has behaved freakishly all throughout history, we just have better records of it!! Stay warm…..and we’ll stay cool!!
Wow, wonderful snowy scene, I love it when it has just fallen and is untouched. :)) I live on the outskirts of Portsmouth 56miles from London and all we had was rain and lots of it followed by a big freeze overnight, was deadly driving to work this morning.
Sharon you had a narrow escape didn’t you

A little snow in England these days brings us to a stop. Yet in the past we just got on with it. Its so true the more we rely on technology the harder Nature hits us! Cool capture friend!!!…)o(
I totally agree with your comment nice to hear from you

As you know, we live in Northumberland and have had hardly any snow at all. We had a couple of snowfalls and now we only have patches of ice here and there. Send us a snowball :)
You were very lucky Dave I would have thought you would have had it worse in your part of the country

I spoke too soon :) The snow is lying thick in our garden as I speak and still falling. Local news is advising us all to stay indoors.
Oh my goodness please don’t send it down here
