The Wicked Fairie watches you
She wants you to be good
She doesn’t want to punish you
She’s often misunderstood
First you bang your elbow
Then you hurt your back
How can you be so clumsy
Co-ordinations not what you lack
You invited her to visit you
You could keep her at bay
If you were not so naughty
Then she’d happily stay away

)) I have that often, though, that I have a ‘nasty’ thought and hurt myself, mostly get my fingers jammed in somewhere, or stub my toe … in German there’s a saying that ‘the small sins are punished immediately’ ;) xDeborah Holman replied
Exactly I wrote the poem and started the drawing after just such an occurence my punishment is usually immediate :o)
