Although originally from Somerset, I have lived most of my life in London.
Ever since I could pick up a pencil I have had a passion for drawing. Coloured pencils were a natural progression and I love using good quality waxy pencils. I also enjoy painting in acrylics, watercolour and oil. Whatever the medium my approach is to lay down the layers of colour to allow the vibrant tones below to shine through. This technique, although very time consuming, gives a wonderful depth to the piece.
