This is a watercolour I did of a little Himba girl on Bockingfords 300gsm Paper with W/N paints. The Himba people hale from the South Western parts of Africa in a country called Namibia.

Wonderfull! You even show the typical red “soil-makeup” effect! And she looks as if something bothers her……..very expressive!
Wow, Thank you Andrea! She does have a pensive look to her. Yes, they smother their plaited hair with the red soil mud and the woman actually cover their skins in the rich coloured mud.
