Sequel to "You Tell Me The Story" - The Brightening
This is a sequel to You Tell Me The Story
where I asked for interpretations of the art. From the feedback that I got I created this story. Thank you so much all who contributed, it was fun and enlightening!
The Brightening
Within the bowls of the earth, in a dark abyss, could be heard sorrowful sounds, likened to a pipe organ playing dirges so dark they could be felt as well as heard, and to those with special gifts, could even be seen! Therein resided a dark and sinister sorcerer, arms reaching upward, casting spells of evil, darkening the whole land.
Through golden streams, a veil as it were, between dimensions, the benevolent yet powerful angelic being, likened to a golden eagle, emerged and took possession of the evil one, melding and morphing him into a grand, and wise, and benevolent wizard of light!
The sound of the pipe organ began changing from dirges of the dark, to songs of praise and adulation and light that not only could be felt and heard and seen, but reached deep into the soul of all that it touched! The great wizard raised his arms toward the heavens, and with encantations only known by the most wise, commanded change! The darkness began turning to light, the fire and brimstone into flowing gold. The brightness eminated to the farthest and darkest regions of the earth, even to meet with the brightest light of all from above, the creator of the universe, and beyond! Hallelujah!
