Rosewood Creek Track – The round-trip takes you through forests of great beauty and variety. You’ll pass through warm-temperate rainforest of coachwood, crabapple and sassafras on your way to Coachwood Falls. As you emerge from the shaded rainforest gullies onto the more exposed escarpment, you’ll see the change to wet sclerophyll forest of blackbutt, tallowwood and brushbox trees.

You must come up to The Blue Mts for a shoot when we have some rain..a CPL & ND filter are also good for waterfalls..I never take off my polarizer at all & is a good lens protecter..have a good weekend mate.

This is a lovely photo Dean……I love waterfalls. We are going up to the Blue Mts towards the middle of the year. Looking forward to some waterfall pics. OK, so you can please practice with your ND filter and let me know how you go about it. I got one, a 10 stop, and followed all the instructions in the book (!!!) even printed out a table of shutterspeeds with 10 stop compensation but alas, have not really worked it out, the photos all come out way too over exposed with the 10 stop count. Must make the effort to try again and make some adjustments!!!

  • hi karine, thanks a lot for that … this was a really nice fall with the forest surroundings. i will bmail you !

What can I say my little Aussie friend………………this is wonderful…………….I have been reading the terrific comments about filters and lens caps and shutterspeeds and God is my head going round…………………..what the hell is a polarizer………………….don’t even bother to tell me…………………..haha………………….you might as well be describing the inside of a cockpit………………….and I am the pits at that too…………………..ignorance is bliss, I think…………………I have a photographer friend who lives a couple of doors away and he would most certainly give me some tuition but I have a terrible fear of his dark room………………..and we will leave it at that……………………..I am waiting patiently for the Murray match and I do hope he wins although he is a pain the butt…………………back to the image………………..you do waterfalls particularly well……………….they actually look like waterfalls and not balls of wet cotton wool falling over a cliff………….I love all the ferns and the beautiful colours in the water………………love it my friend…………………..enjoy your week while I listen to the rain pounding off the windows……………………..cheers Joyce

  • hiya joyce, it was all gobbolygook to me not that long ago haha but im trying to learn a little bit more all the time, just chipping away. it gets me out of the house and that is the main thing. its been raining hard here for 2 days now, and up in qld where my sister is there is mass flooding and small hurricanes. towns being shutdown and everyone locking themselves inside. if its not fires its floods. one extreme to the other. thanks heaps, enjoy your tennis and i hope murray wins for u :)
