The “Chempark” in Uerdingen is a major production centre for chemicals and synthetic materials. This capture was made in the early 1980s whilst it still belonged to Bayer, and was made with a Pentax 6×7 camera using Ektachrome transparency film.
People tell me I should take pictures which sell, but I feel I would be selling my soul. Instead I keep on taking the pictures which I enjoy taking. I will probably never get rich from photography, or even make a decent living from it, but at least I will have left authentic images which might just be of of interest to someone after I have gone!
