The Annafest (Since 1840) takes place each year at the end of July. It is in a forest just outside Forchheim in Northern Bavaria (Franconia), Germany. There are 24 Beer Cellars and seating for 30,000 guests and lasts 10 days. About 50,000 visitors come each day and beer is supplied by the local breweries in Forchheim and vicinity.

People tell me I should take pictures which sell, but I feel I would be selling my soul. Instead I keep on taking the pictures which I enjoy taking. I will probably never get rich from photography, or even make a decent living from it, but at least I will have left images which might just be of of interest to someone after I have gone!
