Artist's Description

The “P8” is arguably one of the most famous classes of German steam locomotives ever built. It is estimated that 3948 were constructed all told. The first P8 entered service in 1906 and the last representative of the class in service with the Bundesbahn was not withdrawn until 1975.
Captured on Velvia film using an Olympus OM1 Camera.
PS (Front of loco is slightly unsharp due to movement.)
