what do you see? just a tree? by 

minimalism can maximize what a photo is really telling you. in this photo, when you think minimal, you see only the tree, but if you see it to the max, then you see the fog covering the lake, but the leaves no longer cover the tree, you can see through the tree, but not through the fog, the tree is reaching out, the fog is keeping you in. so I guess minimalism can speak volumes. photographed at Northshore Lake, just outside Knoxville, TN

    I love how simple this image first seems, but as you have expressed, there is more to it if you look beyond what you first see.
