“It is only in appearance that time is a river. It is rather a vast landscape and it is the eye of the beholder that moves.”

The statement I will show you what I feel was a response By Picaso to a art critic asking him how he felt about one of his works.Regards

TW talks in his way and in very broad terms about the theory of relativity. Indeed, who/what travels: the time over us, or us in time. It is our memory of time that creates the “landscape” he’s talking about.
Your composition is beautifully ambiguous in the perception of eye as a tunnel, whether intended or not. And this makes it a lot more philosophical.
