Ver video – See Video The bombing of Plaza de Mayo is an event in Argentine history. Starting at 12:40 PM, a total of 9.5 tonnes of ordnance were dropped, killing 364 (mostly civilians) and injuring more than 800. Fire ceased at 5:20 PM. Three planes were downed by hastily-mounted anti-air guns.

Es eso.. quizás… Esas heridas son cómo un cancer.. letno e inexorable.. y tardarán algunas generaciones en sanarlo. Después de setenta años.. aquí…. segumos con el rollo de las “Dos Españas” Ya lo decia Antonio Machado.. “Españolito que vienes al undo… te guarde Dios.. qe una de las Dos Españas.. ha de robarte el corazón..” Y también pintó goya uno de los cuadros mñas terroríficos.. “Saturno devorando a sus hijos”.. que no sse confunda el personal por lo de la paloma… está tocada de sangre.. y el collar.. es una oscura cadena de odio.. Rosiña ( ya he mirado el vídeo.. lo veré con más tiento…es estupendo… no conocía el evento…Ahí voy!!. Muchos muxus)
Gracias, Rosa! No, la pobre no había leído la info….es que cuando la hice y subí, no tenía en mente lo del bombardeo, sino lo que está pasando hoy día, y luego caí en la cuenta del aniversario macabro, y lo agregué!!! Cómo duele mi país Cómo duele el tuyo…. Besos

Obviously, this work caught my attention but, what i love is that i also learned something. i did not know this. is it important? yes, i think it very much so. You have done an outstanding work Daniela.
Daniella. This is fantastic on several levels. Your artistry is exquisite and people need to be reminded of the cruelty of the tragic event you described. I never knew of the bombing of the Plaza in Argentine history. I have received several posts about the cruelty of several events, one about John and the tragic killing of her family in Iraq and the heartwarming story of Daniel who has cerebral palsy and wants to protect endangered species, a featured photograph. I also posted a series to raise awareness about the crisis of the homeless. I would like to post these photos in our forum. I hope you add this to our group so I can add it to the other events that are so tragic, but need to be exposed. This is outstanding!!
Thanks Julie! I have to remove some of my works from the group to be able to post this one….I will do asap…. We have such a tragic history (as most of the countries in the world do) but what saddens me most is that human beings seem not to learn from mistakes…
