Mundo Maravilloso

Mundo Maravilloso

My friend and artist Rosa Cobos wrote this words inspired by this image (see free translation below):

Allá van los niños…
hambrientos de amor..
Dos pechos llenos les esperan..
la tierra se hincha de deseos de nutrir.
Y junto a ellos..
se muere el arbol de la vida…
que los mayores..
no han sabido cuidar..
tan dispuestos a la crítica..
tan llenos de miedos..
tan pegados a la suela de sus zapatos..
sin sueños..
y sin fuerza en sus talones.
Rosa Cobos

Free translation:
“There go the kids
hungry of love.
Two full breasts wait for them,
the earth eager to nurture them.
And by their side
the tree of life dies…
Grown ups could not take proper care of it.
grown ups…
full of fears,
ready for criticism,
too stuck on their shoes’
without dreams
without strengh in their feet”

THANKS ROSA!!!!

Hello Daniela! How are you? This is a wonderful picture. It has all the delicacy of a watercolour painting. La poesia es muy profundo!! Tu arte is muy distincto! I imagine Buenos Aries (Good Air?) to be a fabulous place. I like the South American Artists. Frida Khalo, Diego Rivero etc and the writers such as Gabriel Marquez, Mario Vargos Llosa and Isabel Allende. Brilliant artwork! Have a great weekend!

This is so well composed – passion, nostalgia, warm yet sad. It is like a looking at very depth into one heart.

Ooh yes, I like this one. The textural effects, the placing of the children, cat, birds and house to give scale and the strong dividing of the picture plane with the lines of hills…and of course the wonderful colours used. All up, a fantastic composition. Love it :-)
