I like the dividing light. The commentary fits very well with the way the light divides the face. ... kind of like he stays artistic when young but the darker areas reflect the challenge of staying that way when he gets older.
I also like the darkness of the eyes and the mole.

This composition highlights two important elements in portraiture: the eyes and the radiance and happines of the face given here in particular by the faint smile on your son’s face. The innocent eyes simply coronate this composition. Outstanding work.
