very handsome image… : )
That’s the first time tripe has even been called handsome. I’ll take it though…
haha… the compliment’s not for tripe… ; ) but for the image as art… : )
Oh, let’s not deny tripe its little victory. Today, tripe is proud……
It’s so sad, part of our heritage has gone.
I agree, I’m not too sad about the demise of tripe but this area is under constant threat of being torn down and replaced by flats. Fortunately it has a famous patron in Prince Charles who has helped to stave off the inevitable redevelopment, but it’s only a matter of time….
I love this for so many reasons – I love Holga images and I love decayed urban scenes. Oh, and offal is making a culinary comeback- maybe there is hope….
Thanks Christina. I had tripe once but it tasted offal….
That was a terrible gag.
The old world beautifully captured. Great piece of work!
Concept perfect and visually beautiful as well as a subject that is a social sadness and rarity. As near perfect an image as i have seen on here.
Thanks very much for your kind comments, it means a lot.
