Nice contrast B&W Dan, and BPS looks great against that sky.
PS. Have you got a reflective vest and hard hat?? A cheap investment if you dont have them, make yourself an ‘official’ looking laminated card, and as the saying goes, Bullshit baffles Brains. You turn up at the gates looking ‘semi respectable’, be seen to put your hard hat on and vest, and walk slowly onto the site with confidence. Camera comes out, take your pics, and off you go.
Good luck.
Thanks Richard – blimey, that would take some balls…don’t have a reflective vest or hard hat, but it’d be worth investing in one just to get close to this magnificent structure…! Thanks again.
This is Fantastic Dan… a really iconic image of an iconic building! I’m sure you would get some cracking shots if you were able to get closer, but to be honest I love this view and the way you have presented it here with the low framing and vast expanse of dramatic sky. A definate favourite with this one!
Thanks a lot Paul – I missed a couple of open days last year where the public had free access to the site (which I’m still kicking myself for…!), so this is as close as I can get…for now! Thanks for commenting and favouriting too.
Great atmopsheric shot – the clouds add drama to an already dramatic and iconic building – the black and white/ HDR is like a nice cherry on top of an already great cake
Thanks morpheus – this is probably my favourite piece of architecture in London, such an iconic building…glad you like it.

Nice one mate – you got one in the end then!?…. Top shot
Cheers mate-took it a month or so ago and the original was a bit washed out, so had a bit of a tweak and chuffed with the end result.

awesome
Thanks Linda – I adore this building, and may go back this evening to try and capture some night shots, weather permitting.

Just say you are surveying for google earth or something like that.
Its worth the try.
I Blagged my way to get This shot as well as using the crew ‘lift’ to go up and down to the station.
