Just over a month ago my good friend Paul Healey came to London from Bristol for a visit, and together we spent the day wandering round London with our cameras shooting local architecture and hassling the locals. As you do.

This is an alternative version of Paul’s Guys Hospital Entrance shot.

    Wow, I’ve not seen this… what a fantastic structure! Love the curves and forms in this and looks great in B+W. Great job in the framing… it looks like its trying to burst out!

    Thanks Paul – when we first saw it we stood for a good ten minutes trying to figure out what it was…! Apparently it houses the main boiler for the hospital, and is infinitely more interesting than looking at a boiler, I have to say…!
