You have conveyed so much emotion in this piece. I really love how the observer becomes a voyeur, that inclusion of the door is a brilliant touch. The soft light and the stances of the subjects show how delicate a situation it is and there is an unspoken apprehension that is overwhelming. Even the way you have applied the paint is brilliant, realistic because that is what the situation is yet fabulously painterly. Brilliant!
