This was the last photo I took of Dale Sr. prior to his untimely death. This was also the last race I went to with my father at the 2000 Brickyard.

Geri…I think it was that way around several houses…unfortunately we have to go forward….I guess it hurt me more since I had the pleasure to interview him three times before that dreadful race
