The altar of a church in Noravank. Noravank is a 13th century monastery, located 122 km from the capital Yerevan, nearby the city of Yeghegnadzor, Armenia.
On the altar you see the image of Madona and the child, that is a tradition of all Armenian churchs.
the light behind the altar is coming from a hole on in the top center of the church’s main dome.
