Ocularis Infernum (The Eye of Hell)

The Ocularis Infernum (Latin for The Eye of Hell), also known as the Basileus Machine, is a powerful machine designed in the 15th Century, written in an old book called the Arcanum by the once demoniacally possessed 15th century astrologer Basileus.
According to the Arcanum, the machine is based on and centered around the living ocular organ (hence the same name, Ocularis Infernum). And as legend has it, within the dark realm of Hell, the Eye itself sees everything: the past and the future, Heaven and Earth, the blessed and the damned.

Art created using a Nikon D90 and a Sigam 150mm f2.8 macro
