Hi, my name is Darren. I enjoy drawing Australian Naval Ships, general militaria and portraits as I have previously served with the Royal Australian Navy for 15 years. During this time, the navy taught me to pay attention to fine details.
I have only been drawing for a relatively short time (since late 2004) and have been self taught with an exception to a few personal tips from a former colleague who is now a successful artist.
My favourite medium is graphite but I also enjoy experimenting with pastel and watercolour pencils.
I have produced 10 commissioned pieces to date and have several in the pipeline.
