Of all the Cousins from outside, little Jacki is the one who decided to move indoors with us. She’s so sweet she purrs at the thought of being petted!
A gorgeous kitten, and not “just another cat”.
There is no such thing as “just another cat”.
Jacki is named for a family member. After delivering twins, our human Jacki had a stroke and had to relearn to do everything! Family members stepped in to take care of Jacki and the twins, and Jacki’s husband.
Jacki the kitty’s coat pattern is often called “Tuxedo”, obviously. Her mother is a “Talico”, patches of Tabby and the rest Calico, but turned so that the colors are in lines, called a Tortoise Shell.
The eyes run in the family, about 3 of these headlamps to 1 kitten with ‘normal’ eyes. Jacki’s headlamps are clover-green, and she always looks like the proverbial deer caught in the headlights.
RESCUE: Jacki is now neutered, as are her brothers and sisters and cousins. They all ended up getting to stay with us, because the no kill shelter was full. That’s fine!!! Good barn cats are at a premium out here in farm country. Especially the kind that don’t reproduce. FYI, barn cats MUST be fed!
