Getting the Stink-eye! by Dayonda

Currently unavailable for purchase

Behind Wooly sits Wendy, glaring at me, hence the title.
This is our Caregiver, the Wendy who takes such beautiful pics of birds that I’ve included several of them in my portfolio (credited to her, of course). Mostly birds and cats. It was a blast to catch her in the lens instead of behind the view-finder.

Love is… a warm Wooly!

Notice how proud and happy Wooly is to be sitting on Wendy’s knee! With Wooly, he falls in love easily, and and never falls back out of love. An awesome cat! And perched on an awesome lady!

Wooly is a rescued kitty- the neighbors had a yard sale, and on a shelf was a tiny, beautiful, plush kitty bank. I piced it up, looking for a price sticker, and almost dropped it when it trilled, meowed at me, and started to purr. I assume the lady recognized that he’s priceless, and that’s why he was given away, not sold. He’d have been left at her daughter’s to fend for himself if not taken. His surviving litter-mate isn’t surviving any more- wish I ’d taken him, too!

Taken with a CASIO exilim, 12.1 mp. An excellent pocket or purse camera!

He is astoundingly beautiful…Smiles from Jane:-)

  • Thanks, Jane— He’s really bautiful- and because he’s such a loving little guy, nobody gets away without combing him first thing in the morning- and all morning.

Now I would call this a catty image, both because of the cat and the catty look. { :>)

  • That’s perfect! What a great and clever title.

great story behind a nice portrait. goodthing you took Wooly! otherwise this photo wouldn’t be here. nice shot.

  • Thanks very much, Adrian!
Yup, if we hadn’t taken Wooly, there wouldn’t be a lot of things here, physical and emotional. Now he’s got a little girlfriend who likes to wrestle with him! He squeeks and squeals to keep it interesting for her. . . Must post some of her. . . Have a good 2010!!
