Once upon an time there was a black cat.
He had lots of good friends, so he invited them to a tea party.
At the tea party, he served lots of good things to eat;
like slugs and bugs, and turkey meat.
At the tea party, he served lots of good things to drink;
like milk and cream to put in catnip tea.
At the tea party, they played lots of good games;
and pin the tail on the mouse was one.
After the end of the party when everybody went home
he got out the ice cream and ate some himself!
But he couldn’t eat all of it, and he didn’t put it away.
So it melted right on the floor. See?
And after all the other cats had gone home and
the cat ate the ice cream, he curled up and went to sleep.
And the black cat who gave tea parties lived happily ever after.
Drawn in ARTHAUSE STUDIO XTRA, sized in PHOTO FILTRE.
EXPERIMENTAL BECAUSE: drawing life-like proportions in this program (ASX, above) is a new trick to this old cat. It will draw 3/4 of a picture as you draw your 1/4, but it’s all on the same plane. fine for some stuff, but not for this.
Also, ART AND STORIES FOR CHILDREN is a new group and a new understaking for me. So far, it’s great fun!
