THE WEAVER IS THE LOOM by

THE WEAVER
Back and forth, to and fro
That’s how her daily work will go.
Peace and quiet, none to riot,
Everywhere is calm and quiet.

The longer I look at it, the less abstract is this work!

  • re: the weaver is the loom—
I found the same thing in looking at it— it got less and less abstract. I don’t throw them out right away because a few days or weeks later, I might see what they are!

the work is fantastic.. and the words just sing with this piece!

  • Thanks, Linaji. I wrote the little poem to be hypnotic, like weaving usually is and sing-song-back-&-forth like the shuttle goes.

  • Thanks, Don! This was a fun one, yes. The hard part of it is looking and waiting to see what it is.
