Nevada was rescued from and by a friend who hates cats. She sent her to us, which was a good thing for all of us!

Nevada and I are #1 best GFs, and we’re both 50+!! (Especially in cat-years, LoL!)

My kitten, my girlfriend, my cudd’ly sweet,
grown old and still happy, at mine and Dad’s feet.
Mom of no kittens, foster of five,
it makes us all grateful that you’re still alive.

The though of your loss makes dad and me us cry,
Marine that he is, my hubby and I.
We’ve been delighted to love you,
and are delighted yet, too.

Out of a lifetime of our four-legged friends
our love for none of them ever ends.
We love your bight eyes, and your rattling purr,
we’re as happy as you when we pet your soft fur.

When God calls you home, little dear kitten,
We’ll miss your cold nose and wee white mitten,
but we know you’ll be with us
and Jesus in Heaven.
