Her Mother's Eyes

Her Mother's Eyes

Her mother’s spittin’ image, this girl’s her mother’s clone—even in attitude!
She’s about 6 weeks old here, looking very hard for the right home.
Her father’s a red tabby, and you can see that she’s actually a Patched Tabby by the lines on her forehead and her face.

Patched Tabby in green filtered light under a Cedar of Lebanon.

Thank you very much!

I’m in it… I didn’t have the energy to put her in much of anything last night.
She is a little beauty. I’d like to snatch her up and kiss her tummy, but she’s still pretty feral, another thing she shares with her mom.
    Thanks!

Ahhh, she is a little doll! I hope she lets you get close, she looks like she could be a little lover :)

  • Dayonda replied

So far, she’s wild as a march hare. But there’s always hope. The only thing I can think of is to give her and her two other little calico sisters to the local Official Cat Lady who coordinates getting homes for cats. The callies would go in a snap if they were tame. The rest of their litter is either in-our-laps tame or, yes-you-may-pet-me (with the proper offering, you may) tame, so there’s progress still coming along. I know she’s a lover, and so her her two shy little sisters with their ‘coats of many colors’.
    Thanks for your lovely comments!!

    Thank you!
I wish I could pick the little thing up and kiss her on her tummy!!
But she’s still a staunch anti-human, though. She and her 2 little calico sisters. The rest are either in-our-laps tame, or getting there!

Thanks Hans, my dear friend! I was afraid the green light would ruin it. But it’s how it was.

    So cute! She’s a beautiful one :D

  • Dayonda replied

Thanks so much, Mui-Ling. I wish she were tame! She has two equally wild calico sisters, from a calico mother and a red tabby father. In this litter, there were 3 tuxedos (black and white, and one lives mostly in the house, now), 3 tabbies (brown), one gorgeous orange marmalade tom. It was a gorgeous batch! At the same time, her grandmother had a bunch of tabbies and a couple of black and whites. Need a kitty?????
