    this is a shot of a bird with a hair day I think he is proud of! Love your DOF.. and the shine you were able to capture.. Pretty proud I’d say!

    These birds are characters! And they’re beautiful to look at. These have nests under the neighbor’s roof, but generally they’re nest – thieves and move into other birds’ nests. At least, that’s what I’ve read.

    Wonderful capture, beautiful Starling, they have such pretty feathers, like the Jewels of Persia I always think, Someone said they migrate, mine don’t, they nest in a hole in my house wall and breed from February to November, and then hang around being fed all winter, until it is time to start again. The fact that their nest is on top of the hot water pipes might have something to do with it haha. hugs

    Just love your picture, they have a beautiful plumage. in UK, they are considered a pest especially in towns and cities. I have never been able to take a good bird photo. John.
