THE ROSE / UNDER THE OJO
UNDER THE OJO* DE DIOS
Under the sky,
in God’s great Eye,
Try do we.
Split by the tie,
Joined by the wye,
Cry do we.
Cling to the string,
Trouble we bring,
Yet sing we.

Dayonda.. I am really really liking the art work.. but those words…...Under God’s eye.. my oh my! xox my fave and so glad you submitted!!

There’s an american indian art form called the “Ojo de Dios”, “The Eye of God”. It’s a pair of crossed sticks with bright colors of yard would in and out over them in a circular pattern. The woven-looking of spider-web looking things are my interpretation of of Ojos. That’s how the poem got that line in it.

The program’s free. Doesn’t run on 64-bit machines. Lots of fun things to play with in the program.

Thank you for that info.. is it not wonderful where we get our inspiration?!

My fingers were all tangled up last night. Or maybe I had just washed my hands and couldn’t do a thing with them. Anyway, I’m glad you could decipher my eccentric spelling and get the gist of what I was attempting to say. (LOL, no I don’t drink!)
