SQUIRREL 01

Would never have expected a squirrel to brazenly waltz out in the middle of the day, but he is the bread-winner of the familly, and if he waits, the birds will get all the bread. (See tee, also.)
The crow (see pic and tee) bedeviled this guy today. Every time he came out of the bushes, the crow dive-bombed him. He just ducked. The crow even ran him around the tree a time or two as he came down it headfirst. That’s what first drew my attention to the squirrel—wondering who the blasted crow was after this time.

Yes, I wish the crow would go away and stop bothering the squirrel and the little birds. The squirrel would be happier without the big bully flapping at him every time he moves!

I must have taken 50 pics of this little man today. He kept coming back when the crow ran him off. I’m so glad to see him here, I adore them too!

thanks, Susan. He’s raised a little family now, from last summer. All 3 of them gathered nuts together, and this Spring all three of them are out eating greens and playing in the still-bare branches.

Thank you! These squirrrels can only be coaxed out with bread! I thinks there’s a family, or an extended family living in our little neighborhood.
