A cleat left from a jetty long since eroded and swept away by the tides on a South Maui Beach with the sacred island of Kahoolawe bathing in the light of the rising sun. USA
Fantastic image mike. You got the seascape images down to a science… :-) Wonderful comp, color, details and light. A well controlled long time exposure and I suspect also the use of nd grad filter. beautiful

Gezzz Dawson this is one incredible shot..can you share what your settings were on? …Wow.. awesome stuff!!!
It’s all one, isn’t it. The air and water, sky, sand. You always combine that energy so well in your photographs. And your eye for color is superb. I’ve looked at a lot of beaches in photo and real life and this is the first pure apricot I think I’ve ever seen. And there, as it should and must be, repeated in the sky, land, and water. Just great.

Great photo and work
Great composition, colours and feeling of movement in the water. I think it is the dynamic feel of the water that makes it for me.
This is great. The blurred water makes this so powerful. Awesome shot.
