The Circle of Life by

I am sure this image will not appeal to everyone but for me it illustrates of nature in balance and the Circle of Life.

A coho salmon lies in the shallows of a small pond near Mendenhall Lake near death trapped by receding water after spawning. It will provide food for the bears of eagles now that its eggs have been deposited.

It’s beautiful. The salmon and the stone look like they’re suspended in space.

I love it… it’s the circle of life at it’s finest… and I love that eagles can eat upon it.

At first I thought it was a well placed pebble! interesting juxtaposition of death and a heavenly light.
