The Circle of Life
I am sure this image will not appeal to everyone but for me it illustrates of nature in balance and the Circle of Life.
A coho salmon lies in the shallows of a small pond near Mendenhall Lake near death trapped by receding water after spawning. It will provide food for the bears of eagles now that its eggs have been deposited.
The Circle of Life belongs to the following groups:

The fishtail shape of the rock mimics the salmon’s tail, and both seem to be pointing upwards and outwards into infinity where regeneration is ongoing and life continues. This image goes way beyond photography into challenging realms of thought and philosophy and spirituality. You’re a miracle worker with that camera, Mike!
