A bit of sunrise light over the West Maui Mountains and Lanai and a powerful sea ebbing and flowing over the rugged lava rock off the coast of Kihei. The way the ocean seemed to fold before me as I stood on rock had me in awe of the beauty of nature

I can understand why you were in awe. You have captured that water and light excellently! Usually I like some sort of foreground feature (rocks, sand etc) before the water but here the water right to the edge of the frame makes me feel like I’m right there. Love it!
