Orchard Spiders (Leucage venusta)

Some very beautiful small spiders are easily overlooked. Orchard Spiders are about 3 mm long (excluding legs) at maturity. Their appearance varies widely with region.

My name is Dawne Dunton, I’ll be honest and say I can’t really call myself an artist or a professional photographer. I’ve never taken a class, I’m purely an amateur that wants to be more. I take photos of just about everything that catches my eye, and I mean everything. Some of my photos may be odd to you, but I like the odd. I hope you enjoy what I see!!

Nice capture of an Orchard Spider Dawne. I love photographing insects with my macro. They are so detailed and intricate and interesting. Well done. :)

  • I’m not a huge fan of spiders, but since I got a new camera and now being able to do macro I’m just in awe of everything tiny. lol Thank you once again for your wonderful comments!!
