I found these great words from great Red indian warchiefs on one of my husbands favorite pictures. It is called the Ten Red indian commandments written many years ago by ten highranking Red indian War Chiefs, who had this view of the whole planet, they showed respect for the earth and its occupants, human and all creatures, they did not care what race you were or what beliefs you held, they just respected everything. I think it is just wonderful and I thought it was great, hope you do too.
The Ten Red Indian Commandments are:-
Treat the Earth and all that dwell thereon with respect,
Remain close to the great spirit,
Show great respect for your fellow beings,
Work together for the benifit of all mankind,
Give assistance and kindness wherever needed,
Do what you know is right,
Look after the well-being of mind and body,
Dedicate a share of your efforts to the greater good,
Be truthful and honest at all times,
Take full responsibilty for your actions.
The Famous Ten were:-
Sitting Bull – Hunkpapa Sioux leader
Geronimo – Apache chief
Rain in the face – Hunkpapa sioux
Two moons – Cheyenne war chief
Chief Joseph –
American horse – Oglala Sioux chief
Red Cloud – " " "
High horse- Sioux chief.
What a lovely view they had.
