Had a procedure on my injured shoulder onTuesday last week, they asperated the joint, this is the 2nd time I have had to have this done, last time was last august they took out some more broken bits of stuff, ewww not pleasant hehe and on Thursday this week I had a test done with electrodes, boy its was horrid lol, looks like not only have I this problem with my shoulder but also I have Carpel tunnel problems with both arms, and last night \i saw my own doctor and I have a little muscle wasting due to the shulder injury, once its sorted I will have intensive physio, tut tut again hehe and she told me to keep off the pc as much as I can ect tut tut but I cant keep away I am an addict to bubbles now hehe will try and catch up with you all as best I can starting next week, keep up the great art, hugzz dawn

I think it was Danny Kaye in one of his films when he was wounded to blazes and simply said, “Gimme an aspirin and I’ll be OK” LOL Strange you mention all this now, though, because I was only wondering the other day how your shoulder was holding up these days. Thanks for the update and please, just for once, TRY and do what the doctor says, eh!! LOL

eeeewwww, I hate it when that happens! If you had the same carpel test done that I did (needles/electricity), I know how that sux…are you taking glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate? generally high doses are needed, but it can help remarkably…good luck with it Dawn…

hi Scott, yes needles and electricity and it really doeas suck lol and last week I had two docs,with two large needles,(they gotta be big to be able to squirt fluid in and then suck it back out) to catch the broken bits i got floating around in there, boy its been agony since last january, the aspriation is the 2nd time hehe dont know why I am laughing , i just hope it works lol xx

Sweety you take your time as everyone will still be around when you are ready to return in full swing. You will have to keep me updated as both my shoulders have gone. I have to have surgery for sure on the left on and am off for tests on the right one this week to see if I have to have that one done too. If the pain and lack of function has anything to do with it it would seem that the right is worse than the left. The left was damaged in the car accident 5 years ago and they stuffed around worrie dabout the back and ignored the shoulder til recently. Now it seems that as I have been relying on the right so heavily that it has nowe developed even worse symptoms. So I may have to have both done. SO I would be very interested in how you go in your recovery.

aww i feel your pain, I heard of my son in laws father being told he will be having a plastic joint with a titanium cap, his shoulders are bad too, i had this aspiration done last tuesday and have got a little repleif, but this is the 2nd time they have tried this, I broke my collar bone and damaged my left shoulder 5 years ago to, it took 3 years of trying to get it done as they thought I had a trapped tendion, boy I never slept much then, then I had this slip in the bath last january, my fault, too much bubbles in there hehe on thursday I was sent to have these electrical tests, thinking the nymbness I am getting at night is all tied up with the shoulder only to be told its carpel tunnel,they think the shoulder have caused me to curl my wrists in when trying to get to sleep, due to the pain in the shoulder, so now I have two problems hehe and also told my muscles are wasting due tot he shoulder tut tut got to do physio after they sort the shoulders out, I will keep you up dated,hugzz dawnx

the machines that man has built will surely be man;s demise too. with your shoulder problems being “online” and working at the little screen must be a pain. to “help” your CT problem, you might want to consider getting a drawing tablet (WACOM; they’s the best) and using the pen truly as a pen; by moving your whole arm and not just your fingers and wrist-action, you’ll find it better. also great to use instead of a mouse once you get used to using your whole arm and the wireless pen! hoping your problem resolves itself, but true: it will never go away, only get worst so please TRY to control your time at the keyboard.

many thanks for your kindness, last month I had two small ops which looks like they have sorted my shoulder, sadly I am not allowed to do achery again but at least I can use my arm now fully, I have considered learning the wacom but to be honest I am such a pc dummy that even the basics defeat me at times, i am astounded each and every time i can at least get a picture up hehe and i am also making e-books now lol to the horror of my son hehe hes the pc master here, thanks again, great to meet you,dawn

nothing needed to learn re: a WACOM tablet. son can hook up and install, and it’ll be just like normal use of a pen. on a desktop (am using a laptop right now) i use the WACOM w/pen exclusively. with my laptop, it’s hooked up and use it for imagery +. take care of that arm… you only have two!!! ;)
